About Me

My photo
I LOVE to design and to paint whimsical items that will put a smile on your face. Each day I share my simple life with you as I try to encourage, to inspire and sometimes JUST to make you smile as I recount my life growing up on a dairy farm! I've never had many material items in my life, BUT I have been blessed beyond words with love and encouragement from WONDERFUL Parents who instilled in me WHAT was important. I have had EVERYTHING that I needed and WAY too much of what I wanted. I am slowly learning to be a better person each day through my interactions with my friends on Facebook. Some day I hope to be as good as people seem to THINK I am! I am BLESSED! Welcome to my little corner of the world...Please stop by and visit often!

Thank YOU...Friday, December 20, 2013

Today I wish to say a BIG THANK you to all of the Military Members and their families.

Thank you to ALL who work in RETAIL…I’ve said that I BELIEVE that every American should have to work retail during the Christmas Season…MAYBE the way we treated the workers would be much better.

Thank you to All the Firefighters, Policemen, EMTs, Nurses, Doctors, Healthcare employees.

Thank you to ALL workers at the Post Office, UPS, FED EX, Freight Lines…ALL those involved in shipping and mailing.

Thank you to the City/County Employees who work to decorate cities and counties and help to keep our countryside beautiful.

Thank you to the Teachers who are working to shape minds and to teach people that their DREAMS are obtainable.

Thank you to the Preachers and the Sunday School Teachers who are working to spread the GOOD NEWS of Christ…keep them FOCUSED on the message.

Thank you to the Truck Drivers delivering items to stores.

Thank you to all the Factory workers.

Thank you to all the Farmers and those who prepare our food.
Thank you to all the Artisans who put their heart into their art.
Thank you to those who pick up our trash.

THANK YOU for the JOB that YOU do to make our society run smoothly.

During this Christmas Season, let’s not forget

…those who are spending the holidays without the one they love…
…those who are depressed, afraid and alone…
…those that have no home…no money…no food…
....those who have no change of clothes…
…those who are sick…
…those who need a job
…our President, Governors, legislature, ALL Government Leaders
…the addicted
…the criminals

We live in a society that NEEDS each and every one of us to make things run smoothly.  We’ve had a few bad years, BUT HOPE is alive for better days ahead…WHEN you see a need, do what you can.
We need to support each other instead of tearing each other down…LIFE is short and we ALL need each other.  LIVE Christmas.
...Blessings to YOU...~charlotte♥

Being a Nurse (and working many o'Christmas days) I have seen the best of people at Christmas time...warms the heart.
Also having been in the military--husband--we celebrate Boxing Day because that was the day he usually had off if he was in country!
