I have another post almost finished, but I am sleepy, so I am sharing a quick and easy idea for you to "take and run".
Of course, I used DecoArt products!
I had put gesso/paste on several small Canvases (this was about 2.5 x 3.5) last Christmas and never did anything with them. In all the time, Charcoal "gathered" them and I knocked them around too many times to count, and so, this one got ripped.
I was going to toss it, but decided to show that most anything can be made functional again.
I grabbed my black paste and smeared it on the front and back. Yep, that blob is what happens when you put your finger in it to see if it is dry--it was not!
I added texture with dry wall tape. Added circles with a small top and smeared paint with a pallet knife.
I cut a flower/leaves out of an old book. Stamped letters with paint and glued it on with Matte Decou-page.
I thinned the paint and painted the flower and leaves, outlined it all with a Fudeball pen....that was it!
After the paste dried, this was about 15-20 minutes. Sometimes, that is as long as my attention spans.
I could have been neater and used more colors, but I wanted to show how easy a project can be...this is a great idea for creating with the kiddos!
Just another reminder for us ALL to BLOOM!
I am simply blessed to create ~charlotte ♡
