October...the BEST Month of the Year...GREAT Things have HAPPENED in October...ESPECIALLY on the 30th!  =)

Today will be 89 degrees and then tonight, a cold front will come through the state and Saturday, the temps will STRUGGLE to get into the 50s!  LOL...Welcome to Middle Tennessee!  I live in the county that used to be the largest producer of Dark Fired Tobacco in the WORLD!  I detest smoking, so I should not brag on that, but it is part of our heritage...we've learned better...NOW, most farmers grow row crops in a rotation of winter wheat, soybeans and then corn...

I live in one of the most beautiful areas of the country...we have gently rolling hills.  If you go to West Tennessee, the land is FLAT and was a large producer of cotton back in the day.  When you go to the East, you will witness the hills BECOMING bigger...we have the Cumberland Mountains and then further East, the SMOKEY Mountains...We have the best of all worlds ALL contained on state! 

I've gotten to travel to many places and there REALLY is NO PLACE like HOME!  I HOPE that you are blooming WHERE you have been planted, because living in peace is a gift!

In honor of this New Month and well, because I REALLY REALLY REALLY need more followers, I am having a giveaway!  If you share my blog, I will enter your name in a drawing to possibly win this Original Halloween Design...It is painted on an old pie pan.

I am so grateful for the number of visits I am getting to my blog and for the kind remarks I have heard...I am still working on finding my VOICE, but I think I have things to offer that others will find interesting...maybe not to some, but maybe to OTHERS...
